La Bestia (2019)

Frida, a young girl who lost contact with her immigrant father, boards a train in San Luis Potosi, Mexico headed for the US border accompanied by her childhood friend Güero. As they navigate the dangerous terrain of the trip north, Frida's past is revealed in a series of flashbacks highlighting her childhood and relationship with the father who she longs to be reunited with.
