Nureongi (2021)

'Nureongi' explores the history and culture of dog meat consumption in South Korea and its complex and controversial existence in a modern society. Filmed over the course of two years with extraordinary access, the documentary follows the exploration of a proud Korean-American woman's search to understand her homeland's preservation of this tradition as she creates a foundation to rescue and re-home "meat dogs" in the US.
