Fishponds of the Amazon is a short documentary about a development project in a remote village of the Peruvian rainforest. Combining live-action footage and colourful animation, the film transports the viewer to a far off land, where 24 low-income fishermen learn to run a sustainable fish-farm and embrace social change. An inspiring story of collaborative work where economic progress meets conservation efforts, in the hope of effecting widespread impact by starting small.
