Dr. Veronica McCabe (college professor) is trying to shut down the Plum Island Animal Disease Center because the Department of Agriculture is bringing live diseased animals through Long Island. Her nine year old son Alex contracts an unknown fatal disease and now she has to find the cure, but how?
