Alice (2020)

"Alice" is about a contemporary dancer who goes through the horrible tragedy of losing her daughter, Rachel, to a heart condition. This puts Alice and her mom, Chelsie, at odds. A year later, Alice is trying to forget the past by filling her life with dance, however she is not as good as she once was. After meeting with Chelsie, Alice sees an opportunity to audition for her mother's successful dance company and hopes to seize the opportunity to move forward with her life after her loss. Little does Alice know, Chelsie has no intentions of hiring her onto her dance company. Alice learns of this and is at a crossroads. She can either learn to forgive herself, celebrate the life her daughter had and try to mend her relationship with her mother, or she can continue blaming herself and running from her losses and relationships.
