For 15 years, one of Sweden's most notorious and cruel crimes was unsolved. The bestial murders of 10-year old Helén Nilsson and Jannica Ekblad (26). In 2004 a suspect, Ulf Olsson, was found after a DNA test. In April 2003 Chief Criminal Investigator Per-Åke Åkesson headed the new task force. One of his subordinate was Criminal Inspector Monica Olhed. The new police investigation included a list of 29 names from which a final check would be made. The 52-year-old Ulf Olsson was number 28.
