Bob is a 65 year old Jewish man from Queens, New York who went to Woodstock at 15, went to high school with the Ramones, once worked as a TV repo man and designed bathrooms for celebrities including Elton John, Sylvester Stallone and Janet Jackson. He is very funny, self-deprecating and full of life. He also only has one week to live. Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease that will kill him in under six months, Bob has decided to end his own life legally through Washington State's Death with Dignity Law. Bob reaches out to filmmaker Amiel Courtin-Wilson to document the last eight days of his life, including the actual moment of his death. When the film crew arrives in the tiny town of Aberdeen, Washington, in the middle of winter, Bob finds that profound friendships can be made, even in your last few days on earth.
