Hausabai and her daughter Radha belong to well known Tamasha troupe and make their living by performing in various villages ,Hausabai's son Chabnya is addicted to gambling and drinking and robs people to fulfill his desires.Subhanrao Patil is a respected village head known for its development and good deeds while the same village has Zumbhar Sethji who has kept villagers in debt with him. Hausabai and Radha reach their village with their troupe and part ways from Chabnya as he steals purse of Ankushrao Patil who is to be married to Radha.Chabnya now left to live on his own makes a huge theft and kills an old lady in the house where villagers believe it could be work of a gang.Chabnya is haunted by the screams of lady and confess it o his father who takes him to Subhanrao but unexpected event take place as Subhanrao is not whom he claims and decides to keep whole loot for him and hides it in the house of a widower Tarabai.Zumbhar her frequent visitor finds about the loot and blackmails Subhanrao to have a equal share.Tarabai tells the village master about the loot in turn both get killed and Chabnya is held for murder of Tarabai.
