Dr. Bethany Carter-Fuentes has been invited to attend her high school reunion as the Guest of Honor. Her ten-year old daughter, Jasmine, and her husband, Rafael, are proud of Bethany and excited about her achievements, however, the invite releases Bethany's long-buried wounds as the victim of childhood body shaming. Fearful of the same trauma happening to her own self-assured tween, Bethany fluctuates between encouraging her daughter to be proud of who she is and pointing out her imperfections. Is it better to build a strong sense of self-esteem in your child or to prepare them for the painful judgment of reality? Unable to stop herself from slowly picking at Jasmine's wall of confidence, and battling her own deep-seated sense of embarrassment, Bethany inadvertently repeats the cycle of body shaming until Jasmine finally cracks under the pressure.
