The lives of Emine (36-41) and Kadir (45), who took asylum from Turkey to England for political reasons, are turned upside down when they learn that their child Arif is transgender because they see that the oppressive social mentality which they reject has taken over them from the inside. They begin to whisper in order not to become the people they have been running from for years.
