Rose and the Soldier (2015)

Martinique, 1942. Rose, a young teacher, is dismissed by the Vichy regime of Admiral Robert. Disgusted at her treatment, and starved by the British blockade, she wants to escape with the young dissidents who risk their lives trying to reach the British islands. But a German submarine lands a critically wounded officer, Lieutenant von dem Born, who is protected by the French authorities, while at the same time, Rose meets a captain of the navy, a friend of the admiral, who falls in love with her and saves her brother. Will their love survive the obstacles and discrimination in their path? It's the beginning of a strange confrontation between the German officer, the French navy captain and the young rebellious woman.
