The Road to Glory (1997)

While traveling through a small village a famous composer and his manager discover a young man, Joseph Gold, with a beautiful voice. They offer him the lead role in their new opera and Gold leaves the village to find fame and fortune. Gold falls in love with an opera diva and converts from Judaism to Christianity in order to marry her. Suddenly, things is starting to go wrong as Joseph's son passed away and Joseph hearing from his father what happened, he decided to make amends as he quits the show business to settle his affairs.
