A Call From Heaven

Filmed with half of the characters real people discovered on the streets. "A Call from Heaven" carries a sweet temperament like an old classic film. A personal touching story directed and filmed by Cinematographer Sing-Pui O, Hong Kong's First underground cameraman of Fruit Chan's 'Made In Hong King. 19 year old girl Iris did not come home until she gradually loses her eyesight. The broken family lives at the bottom of a well-like building structure, sounds of upper floors echoed through while grandma lives with her Alzhelmer's Disease and turtle. Through Iris's growing pains, her mothers mysterious relationships unfold in unspoken beauty. Yet to be screened, the script has won Outstanding Script Award of Taiwan's Government Information Bureau.
