Talamak (2001)

Elmo was the bully of his hometown, until he was jailed for killing his wife, Patricia. After he served his jail sentence, he swore that he would do anything to live a new and better life. But he becomes the town's laughing stock. Elmo, once the towns bully, now pushes carts to collect bottles and newspapers. But this doesn't stop Elmo from trying to live a better life so he helps children by urging them to do good things and convincing them to stay away from drugs. One of this kids is Toto, whom he adopts along with his two other siblings. Macky, a policeman, is competing with Elmo for Cristy's heart. Cristy is a beautiful young girl who owns a carinderia. Macky tries everything to have Elmo jailed again so he can have Cristy for himself. Elmo also saves his bestfriend Bert from the influence of drugs and returns him to his wife and children. Chona, Bert's wife, blames Borong for what happened to her husband. Elmo tells Borong to leave the town, which makes the townspeople happy. Elmo once again becomes popular in town, not as the bully he once was, but a selfless defender of the innocent. Even his father has a change of heart towards him. But little does Elmo who know that Borong and Macky are planning to get back at him for humiliating them.
