Repairman

REPAIRMAN is an original screenplay written by SIDEWAYS author Rex Pickett. Hap Rosecrans is a Coin-Op washing machine repairman. A victim of fetal alcohol syndrome. he is a recovering alcoholic and a reformed arsonist. All alone in the world, he cares for a wheelchair-bound mother who is wasting away in a convalescent home. When his finances become strapped, he is forced to go to work for a large, corrupt, Coin-Op repair and leasing outfit that tests his integrity, his tolerance for persecution, and, with it, his sobriety. Set in Ocean Beach, a seaside enclave in San Diego, REPAIRMAN is a story of one man's cleaving to his honesty in a world swarming with mendacity and petty greed.
