Land of Losers (2016)

Portugal 1956, during the fascist dictatorship of Salazar. A general investigates the disappearance of a woman, while the country is shocked by the murders committed by the revolutionary group 'the cutthroats.' This is a western set in a barren and hostile land; it is the drama of a friendship divided by the revolution and the political choices: two men meet again after many years and challenge each other in a dialectical duel with no holds barred. In this short film the characters are torn by regrets of his past and from the excesses of the clash between Salazaristi and communists.
