Why Just One? (2016)

Why do only one in a thousand sea turtle eggs hatch and survive to middle age? This documentary, produced by Sea Shepherd, sheds light on the Costa Rican campaign Operation Jairo. The campaign primarily focuses on the rescue of turtles brutally killed by poachers, the theft of their eggs, their deaths due to plastic contamination of the ocean, and the destruction of local ecosystems.
