Exile (2016)

The story of Hassan, a Sudanese filmmaker, who is forced to flee his home country and seeks asylum in the UK. Struggling with nightmares and homesickness, he seeks to learn more English in order to try and integrate into this new society. Here he develops closeness with Israeli born, English woman Aphagail. Hassan is confronted by housemate Said Al Islama a fellow asylum seeker who aggressively questions Hassan's lifestyle choices, forcing him to reflect on leaving his country.
