A documentary that depicts the controversial double police murder, involving neo-nazism and a theatre project by one of Scandinavia's most celebrated playwrights. The film traces a complex and fascinating chain of events leading up to the fatal climax in the picturesque small town of Malexander, Sweden. Today, the people involved in the events must live with the question if another decision from their part, could have saved the lives of the two police officers. For the first time the victims and relatives tell their story about how their lives changed after the killings. Some choose to ignore it ever happened. Others decide face the perpetrators - eye to eye. Three men were convicted of the crimes, Tony Olsson, Andreas Axelsson and Jackie Arklöv. All three were sentenced to life imprisonment.
