Ten years ago, Hurricane Katrina silenced the music that echoes from the bayou to Bourbon Street. With a storm so devastating, it was predicted that it would take all those 10 years for New Orleans to come back, for the infrastructure to come back, for the music to come back. And it has come back. But these four musical souls are navigating the currents of a changing Mississippi Delta region. Everything here is shifting, like the flow of the river that created South Louisiana over the eons. Some here live under threat, outside levee walls that are growing higher, on coastline that is disappearing. Inside the walls, new cultures, new hopes and new struggles have filled the void left 10 years ago. That was then. This is now.
