The Escape Artist (2016)

The Escape Artist is a short film drama that follows a young man, Aaron, through different points in his life, highlighting his struggles in dealing with his parents' divorce and his father's systemic abuse. Aaron, now on the edge of adulthood, is torn between following his mother's wish to maintain a relationship with his now deranged father, or abandoning his father altogether.
