Always (2018)

Always follows Sam (Ajay Banks) a young man who has put his life on hold to be the carer for his mother, Emma (Louise Bremner), as she battles cancer. As Sam navigates the aftermath of his mother's death, he is forced to confront his (for)ever absent father, Peter (Adam May). Sam begins to heal with the help of his partner, Leo (Samuel Wilson). Always, an independent short film exploring themes of grief, love and loss, is the first offering of young accomplished Australian actor Ajay Banks. Ajay was inspired by the deaths of his grandparents, to whom the film is dedicated.
