Found in a Dream (2019)

A story about community issues around young, migrant African men set in Melbourne, Australia. Namely, issues of feeling alone and a sense of not belonging that leads young immigrants to struggle with relationships, education and work. Through a lack of love and understanding, often they turn to drugs. Found in a Dream explores these themes and issues through Abeselom, a hardened drug dealer. His world rocked when he meets Netsanet and for the first time he feels real love again. Found in a Dream is about love, culture, money and ultimately, finding comfort within each other.
