Morphine (2017)

Dr. Morell a melancholic physician experiences acute and unprovoked pains in his chest, his dear friend, also a doctor Anna arrives with Morphine which allows his pain to subside. Dr. Morell continues using morphine to prevent his pain from arising again, and unwilling falls deep into the grasp of the drug. After being caught at work using, Dr. Morell still in denial about his addiction meets with his close friend Dr. Bromgard, to salvage his friendship before he is admitted. Morell even while admitted cannot curb the appetite, and is barred from the medical profession which is all he knows. Morell in deep, solemn, regret finds himself buried in the deepest regions of his mind.
