Dam (2017)

Against the backdrop of a brutal expropriation and the imminent building of a dam in a secluded mountainous region, the expelled inhabitants of an entire village will have to confront a harsh new reality. Under those dire circumstances--while forced to abandon her birthplace and her beloved old dog--the sad sixteen-year-old girl, Christina, is faced with a pressing dilemma, and the insufferable burden of an urgent and difficult assignment. Now, under the shadow of a towering dam, Christina must find her breaking point. Is she up to the task?
