An in-depth documentary that examines the history and impact of the first public performing arts high school established in the United States, the School of Performing Arts which was made internationally famous in the feature film and TV series, "Fame". The School of Performing Arts (which ceased to exist when it was merged with the School of Music and Art to become Fiorello H. Laguardia High School Of Music and Art and Performing Arts) has a fascinating history and one of the most impressive lists of graduates of any high school in the world who have gone to major achievements in the Arts, Film, TV, Theatre as well as politics, law, science and practically every field. This film is a labor of love, produced by and featuring PA alumni and faculty from around the world.
