Finding Anissa Jones (2017)

19 year old Austin Cook travels with his Aunt Holly from Connecticut on a cross-country road trip to scatter his late Mother's ashes along the shore in Playa del Rey, California. Holly, the younger sister of Shannon (Austin's Mom) has some recollection of Shannon and her best friend child actress Anissa Jones having fun in PDR. Holly reveals to Austin one of his Mother's wishes was to find the time capsule she and Anissa buried in Anissa's yard in the mid-1970's. From an awkward start to discovering a loving bond, these different generations work on releasing their grief and discover that the love and family bond lives within them.
