Judy (2019)

This biopic of legendary actress and singer Judy Garland is set in 1968, the last year of her life. Judy accepts a contract to work in a London nightclub while going through problems of all sorts. Still, she forms bonds with fans and musicians through which she rediscovers her passion and artistic impulse. Leading actress Renée Zellweger's award-winning performance is the heart and soul of a film with a great period reconstruction, so effective that its two hours fly by.
