A Shot at Redemption (2018)

Earl Suman, an aging retired banker, lives a miserable and lonely existence taking care of his invalid wife of fifty years. He secretly longs for his wife to die as he feeds her cigarettes day in and day out. Earl yearns for love and affection and finds it by peering through the window every day at a Scottish widow, Josie, who lives across the street. He longs for the day to tell her his secret, but hides in fear, channeling his passion in a dark room painting works of art dedicated to his hidden love. In an act of pure desperation Earl does the unthinkable, taking one final shot at redemption by facing his greatest fear and following his heart.
