Ragnar Thoursie tells about his family and especially a childhood memory from the age of 6: how a female relative collapsed and died in front of his eyes. In an interview, he speaks of the great influence that the German artist and satirist George Grosz had on him in the youth. In Berlin, he visits the museum over German anti-Nazi resistance. As a poet Ragnar Thoursie was greatly appreciated by Sweden's former prime minister Olof Palme, who often quoted him in his speech.
