Museu da Terra de Miranda (2014)

Documentary about the Museum of the Terra de Miranda, located in the historical center of Miranda do Douro. Held on the initiative of the DRCN, with the support of the European Union in the framework of the Spain / Portugal Cross-Border Cooperation, co-produced by Ana Paula Bulhosa and Ideias e Conteúdos, it is the result of a directing joint project, written and presented by Marta Ribeiro, with images captured by the camera of Ricardo Garrido and film editing by Pedro Pinheiro. With close consultation of João Luís Sequeira and the Mirandese writer Amadeu Ferreira, we visited the Museum accompanied by the director of the museum, Jean Yves Durand, on a guided tour, complete with images representative of the interior of the museum and all its surroundings, guided by interviews with figures especially knowledgeable of the practices and customs, history and culture of the region , such as António Mourinho (nephew of Father António Mourinho), the craftsman Aureliano Ribeiro Cristal, Célio Pires (Director of CMT - Sons of the Earth) or the bagpipe maker Mário Correia and Paulo Meirinhos of the traditional Miranda music group "Galandum Galundaina.
