Some countries overseas received a PG rating for brief shots of frightening images, fleet references of animal slaughter, and some violence, even though it received a G rating in United States.
The film is very creepy and atmospheric. Their are several scenes which may frighten scare children. Depending on what print of the film you have will manly tell how scary it will be. In many of the prints it is dark and is very hard to notice the monster.
In all prints of the film the ending 20min or so I'd very intense. But only some prints show the monsters face (which is very creepy and disturbing)
The film may upset some viewers (manly young ones) beacuse at the middle of the film partly circulars around how lonely the monsters is. Or they may feel bad for the monster.
