Liliom (1971)

Liliom, a merry-go-round barker at an amusement park, becomes enamored of Julie, a servant girl, and marries her. As a husband, he is not a good provider, but when he learns that his wife is pregnant, he is spurred into action and robs a bank cashier so he can take Julie to America. The consequences of his actions are devastating.
