City of My Dreams (1976)

In late 19th century Stockholm, young Henning and his friends are struggling to stay alive while dreaming of freedom in a city where there are those who own and those who are owned. Based on the first book of the City series by Per Anders Fogelström, who also is the narrator of the film.
