Elegiya (1982)

Two generations live together in a decent Bulgarian family. The elderly are pensioners; the young couple manages it somehow. The father is an advocate of the stable family values and the son is infidel to his wife. During one of his love exploits, a boy gets killed. The father gets informed and their differences deepen. The mother takes her son under her wing, and his young wife is in agony. Disgusted at the spiritual meanness and cynicism of his kin, the father decides to live all by himself.
