My Bloody Valentine (1981)

In the mining town of Valentine Bluff, five miners are killed in a tragic accident when their supervisors left their posts to attend the Valentine's Day dance. The only survivor takes revenge on those responsible, leading the community to cancel the holiday. Years later, the dance is resumed, and a masked killer stalks the citizens, warning and demanding its cancellation. This film faced censorship due to its explicit violence but has also generated debates about the limits of horror in cinema.
