My Blue Hawaii (1972)

Playing a Hawaiian girl, Nora Aunor is courted by an enigmatic figure whose sole purpose is to allow Tirso Cruz III to act adorable and exhibit the cliches of puppy love that have become so beloved by the devoted Nora-Tirso followers. The subplot of this twin love tale is provided by Gloria Romero, his demanding wife who forces him to choose between Gloria and his career, and Luis Gonzales, who works as a pilot. Like the well-known parade that can travel in many directions but always ends up at a church, this poor tale settles disputes and brings people together.
