Allou to oneiro, ki allou to thavma (1957)

In high hopes of striking it rich, the impecunious best friends, Kokovios and Nikolakis, take on odd jobs in the bustling port of Piraeus to eke out a living. In the meantime, the compassionate Good Samaritan, Kokovios, is secretly supporting the needy elderly woman, Lemonia, and her partially paralysed young daughter, Vaso, on his already meagre income. The two women dream of visiting the island of Tinos and the miracle-working icon of the Virgin Mary. Will She grant their wish?
