Freemarket (1997)

A boy is found in a container in the harbour. He does not speak a word of Dutch and is taken to a reception centre for refugees. He does not want to speak, but he starts drawing. In the chaos of the free market on Queen's Day in Amsterdam, he witnesses an incident between children and aggressive traders, which brings back memories of his traumatic past. He shows his drawings to one of the children. She understands his background.
