Murtovarkaus (1926)

Harry Roeck Hansen's drama The Burglary (1926) is based on a play by Minna Canth. Niilo, a boy from the rich Peltola house, is in love with the poor farmer's foster-daughter Heleena, but on his father's orders, he becomes engaged to Loviisa, a spinster from the Ukonniemi estate. When Niilo wants to break off his engagement, the proud and hurt bride sets out to break up the lovers' relationship with the help of the miracle worker Penttula.
