Adventurer (1942)

About the Swedish poet and adventurer Lars Wivallius (1605--1669) with an insignificant historical background. It is the Thirty Years' War and Swedish king Gustaf II Adolf prepares to intervene in them widespread battle and conspiracies around Europe. Lars Wivallius is on his way to Paris. During romantic circumstances he becomes acquainted with the beautiful Polish countess Theresa Palditska. She is surprised by how much he looks like her close friend, the Swedish ambassador to Paris, Count Eric Gyllenstierna.
