Sound of the Mountain (1954)

An aging businessman deals with his son's marriage, as his daughter-in-law's warmth draws him into a bond that starkly contrasts with his son's cold indifference and infidelity. Meanwhile, his own daughter, scarred by a failed marriage, returns home, reigniting old resentments. As loyalties shift, he is forced to confront not only the disintegration of his family but also his own role in the fractures that threaten to pull them apart.
