La becerrada (1963)

San Ginés de la Sierra (Spain), a small town lost in the mountains, near Despeñaperros, is famous for its persistent drought and for an asylum called "The home of the vanquished", where twenty old men reside under the care of some nuns. To solve the economic problems of the center, it is decided to organize a charity bullfight, and the mayor gives them the bullring. Only bulls and bullfighters are missing. To this end, three nuns set out on a trip to Málaga to get what they need. There they will contact Juncal, a poor devil who pretends to be an expert in the bullfighting world.
