The Robber Cries Thief! (1965)

Much to his surprise, Timoleon Lambrou, an impoverished but sincere and meticulous accountant, stumbles upon a bulky leather wallet which belongs to Solon Karaleontas, the general manager of a large organisation. Intent on returning it to its rightful owner along with all its cash and a handwritten envelope, Timoleon is utterly oblivious of the fact that the content of the letter he has just found, points out to a well-planned and long-standing conspiracy behind Solon's back. Suddenly, this particular item becomes an object of utmost importance to Solon's wife, Lia, who is on pins and needles, aching to get her hands on this little piece of paper. Is she hiding something?
