The Tourists (1963)

Perpetually broke, but without a care in the world, Tikos and Sfikos--a pair of best friends, roommates, and struggling artists--find themselves with their back to the wall. On the one hand, Xenophon, their exasperated landlord with a heart of gold, threatens them with eviction unless they pay the rent, while on the other hand, Tikos and Sfikos are jobless. Going nowhere fast, the two companions have an epiphany: meander through Athens, Greece, posing as tourists to keep a roof over their heads. Will their reckless strategy work?
