Love and Waves (1928)

In search of love, the handsome and affluent Athenian Casanova, Petros Doukas, sets foot on a picturesque island of the Aegean Sea. Instead, the self-assured man falls head-over-heels in love with charming Rina, the young daughter of the grizzled widower, Poundas, unbeknownst to him, however, that the pretty woman is already betrothed to the impecunious fisherman, Panos Filikos. As a result, this unfortunate situation sets the rumour mill in motion. Will they resolve the misunderstanding?
