The Uphill of Golgotha (1917)

The most discussed film of this period was "The Uphill of Golgotha" by Dimos Vratsanos, on behalf of the film company, "Asty Films". Doomed to be incomplete, a part of the story pivoted around a Cycladic monastery, where a young nun envisioned the divine drama and the Passion of Jesus Christ.
