I Killed for My Child (1962)

Impossible to cope with cruel and extreme poverty, the financially hard-pressed single mother of two, Anna Nikolaou, swallows her pride and starts working at the cheap and disreputable nightclub of her former lover, Yorgos Karalis. As the years pass by, and her children--troubled Kostas and frivolous Lisa--have now grown up, Anna is still struggling to keep up the ruse and bury her shameful secret, unbeknownst to her that Yorgos has already set his sights on luring Lisa in his sinful and dangerous world.
