Evolution (2001)

In this hilarious sci-fi comedy, a meteorite crashes in Arizona and two college professors, Ira and Harry, discover that it is carrying rapidly evolving alien organisms. As these creatures multiply and threaten the Earth, Ira and Harry, along with a scientist and a clumsy firefighter, must find a way to stop the alien invasion. Directed by Ivan Reitman, the film offers laughs and has a good cast, while maintaining a tone where it doesn't take itself too seriously.
