A Night in Paradise (1951)

Nestled somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the isolated Hotel Paradise is the verdant haven of the passionate writer and long-term tenant, Ms Vyzantiou. In need of peace to get out of a persistent creative rut, much to her delight, Ms Vyzantiou jolts into action, as the simultaneous arrival of the newlywed Doxas couple, and the male housekeeper Antonis' beautiful friend, Lina, rekindles the novelist's dormant creativity in an instant. In the meantime, Antonis is ready to set in motion his audacious plan, as Lina, under the guise of a mysterious, grief-stricken woman in black, poses as a cryptic lady with a hidden agenda involving Agis, the handsome son of the hotelier, who, of course, is utterly unaware of their innocent scheme. Under those circumstances, will Ms Vyzantiou write her magnum opus? Will a night in Paradise mark love's prelude?
